Bilt Furniture, Function + Form = Art + Design
BILT is a design collaborative founded by four recent graduates of Brown University. Our design background is diverse, each of us having worked in a variety of media, on a range of scales, and with different intentions: industrial design, theatre, architecture, furniture, and sculpture. Matthew Weissman, Photographer/Realist/Prophet
Matthew’s vision of the world can be seen through the lens of his work. While currently located in Providence, RI, he’s found inspiration from many places both real and imagined. In black and white photography, he seeks to uncover the soul of his subject, be it a familiar face or a distant landscape. The images he captures are reminiscent of times past and yet possible futures that await.

Jonathan Calugi, Happy Lover’s Town
Born in Pistoia, Italy, Jonathan Calugi is an illustrator based in Italy and it is from his self-proclaimed chaotic workspace, that he creates his clean illustration and pattern works. Each piece is a take on his quirky child-like doodles with clean minimal lines and simple, uncomplicated colours.
And it is through these simple visual works, that Jonathan draws in viewers to a basic stand and cultivates appreciation the very epitome of the common phrase of “Less is more”. A very good nudge away from what can be a messy and rather perplexing world at times.

Some of the latest project include artist limited series for Delonghi, Uniqlo and Fubon Art Gallery. Clients he’s worked with include Nike Europe, Sony UK, Gold, Noodlepark, We Form, 9volt, Faro and Giocattoli.

JUMBO

Cellar Doves Producer/Performer/DJ/Pianist/et al.
The nature of my work combines a post-modern approach to classic dance music with a slight ambience subtracted from providence noise. The end result is silver and phosphorescent blue on flat black with copper overtones reminiscent of an industrial strength disco ball with an antique timelessness.

Gregory Larson Pennisten*, born August 30, 1983
Better known by his street name 50 Cent, is an American visual artist. He rose to fame with the opening of his shows, “Illmatic” (2009) and “A Dreadful Wreck of Cars” (2009).
