Narragansett Brewing Co., ‘Gansett In A Glass Narragansett’s family of classic American lagers and ales are brewed by guys who take pride in the beers they make, and joy in the beers they drink. The lager and light beers are brewed in Rochester, NY at a brewery that’s been producing award-winning beers for more than 125 years. The bock and porter are craft-brewed in Providence, RI and Pawcatuck, CT.

Rhodia Notebooks, orange & black depuis 1934 The stationer known as “Papeteries Verilhac Freres” was founded in Lyon, France in 1932 by two brothers, Henri and Robert Verilhac. They came from a family of paper merchants, with two brothers from the previous generation having set up a family business selling paper mainly in the southern part of France and North Africa. In 1934, the company moved from Lyon to Sechilienne near Grenoble in the French Alps. The name “Rhodia” comes from the Rhone, a river flowing by Lyon dividing the Alps from the Massif Central. Production of their notepad began that year. The company was purchased by Clairefontaine in 1997 and production transferred to Mulhouse, in Alsace, France. Members of the Verilhac family still work for Rhodia. The Rhodia logo dates back to 1932. Legend has it that the two Rhodia fir trees symbolize the two founding brothers. |

ASICS, A sound mind in a sound body. ASICS Ltd. began as Onitsuka Co., Ltd on September 1, 1949. Its founder, Kihachiro Onitsuka, began manufacturing basketball shoes in his home town of Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Soon after the range of sports activities widened to a variety of Olympic styles used throughout the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s by athletes worldwide. Onitsuka became particularly renowned for the Mexico 66 design, in which the distinctive crossed stripes, now synonymous with the company brand, were featured for the first time. ASICS |
